How Fintech Founders Win

Eight startups. Six continents. One framework.

Co-authored with Gary Dushnitsky of London Business School and published by Bloomsbury in November 2026 (US, January 2027).

The book goes inside eight category-defining fintech companies, from Airwallex and Revolut to Nubank and PhonePe, and asks the question that separates invention from impact: not only what gets built, but what gets distributed, trusted and adopted at scale. At its centre is the GRID framework (Growth through Innovation and Distribution), developed from original interviews and primary research.

James P. Gorman, Chairman Emeritus of Morgan Stanley; Chairman of the Walt Disney Company

Technology may start a fintech company, but trust and brand are what make it endure.

Micky Malka, Founder and Managing Partner, Ribbit Capital

Across eight founders and six continents, they identify the simple, powerful patterns that shape category-defining fintech companies.

Kathleen Eisenhardt, S.W. Ascherman Professor of Engineering, Stanford University

It fills a real gap in our knowledge.

Josh Lerner, Jacob H. Schiff Professor, Harvard Business School
